update for new sch term
Thought I'll just share with you all what changes are taking place for me in the coming academic year (especially for accountability to Angela).Basically 3 weeks of school has past, and I am lagging behind already. The first 3 weeks has been very distracting, with the various school organised events (like ECA open house, union day, club elections/interviews). Thankfully so far the tutorials are still keeping up 80%. Will have to work harder after all the events cool down (which means time for test?! oh no!).
The new academic year started off with a major change for me, and that is to have to travel from amk-NTU and back every day. I did not manage to get a hall, and decided not to squat in my friends room. Thankfully, due to some students' Entrepreneurship project, I have this bus to fetch me to school every morning. It's a little more expensive (~$3 per trip to NTU), but at least it allows me to continue my sleep for another 40mins on the bus. and due to the bus, I will reach school every morning at 8am (even on days when my lesson starts at 1230). Well I intend to study in school in the morning, make full use of the time. However, due to all the activities around, meeting up with friends that have not seen for 3 months, the mornings haven't been very productive. I'll be working on it from the coming week onwards to make it productive!
As for the number of modules.... it's close to the last semester... 8 modules. But the number of Academic units are alot lesser (21 AUs now comparing to 26AUs last sem). Simply put it, the modules have lesser weightage. However, most of the modules this sem are more time-consuming despite of it's lesser weightage. I have more reports/project work to do. And I have calculated, if I want my CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) to be above 4.0 out of 5.0, means a 2nd upper honours, I need ALL As for my this semester. stress.
On top of the usual school modules, I have decided to involve myself more in the ECAs (to make the best out of my short time in uni!). I'll be continuing my post as Cultural Activities Club's Publication Vice-Chairperson. Workload for this is heavy, just some liasing with external media companies, help my publication director (who is a very nice girl who just joined NTU, 2 yrs my junior) with anything that she might require. I will also be running for Psychology Society - Honorary General Secretary. The elections is the coming Tues evening. Most probably will not be a problem getting the post. Yes some of you might be asking "huh? why Psychology Soc?" Well basically, my elder sis is one of the co-founder of the club. It's a very new club. If I get in I'll be the 2nd EXCO of the club. So I was invited to try for this post. After much consideration, I think I'll learn alot. Workload can be quite demanding I guess, but that's what it takes to be pruned right?
Lastly is the Prayer Points. Appointed by Desmond, I am now coordinating the FCBC people who are in NTU - Sch of MAE (basically whoever that's in the same fac as me lah). Coordinating work is definately not easy, but i'm sure that this prayer points will allow me to be blessed so much more in school as I am reminded more often of who my God is. Praying that things will work out well and stable.
Oh yes, and I'm also earning some allowance by giving tuition to this sec3 indian girl. 11-2pm (3hrs) every sat... bio chem phys)
To end off, my application from cell meeting: To read the bible at least once a week (ok I know this is very little... but it's an improvement from what it is now). Everyday, I constantly remind myself to be aware of God's presence. I pray at every meal to ask God to pull me through the day. Reading the word would require me to take more time out, and honestly, I find it hard as I'm not someone who can get myself to settle down to read a book. So yeah... to start off, from next week onwards... read at least 1 chap of the bible every week and medidate on that 1 chapter.

Precision drills <3 !! But the drills are not very nicely done. There are other squads of Provost PDS that are like super nice. But then of course, it is so much nicer than NCC's one. (: The individual drills are nice too!
That's all for NDP preview.
Week one of school was super nice! A little stressed, but nice. Some days are a lot nicer than others. hehehe. Meeting up with little roomie/ex-roomie, little khong, and that crazy Jel makes school soooo much nicer!
Monday: Brought Feline around the school. Bought my textbooks! Saw him in Essential Math class.
Tuesday: Met Jel and Khong for breakfast at Pallete. Saw him outside Library, who is also waiting for the library to open.loveNTU Prayer meeting in the evening with hawling. Met Sue in Jel's room, looking through her NZ photos. Took a short ride on the motorbike for the 1st time!
Wednesday: Met Jel to study in the morning. Saw him outside MAE office, waiting to go into the LT for lecture. Pass to him math3 textbook. Pass to Liwen MOM textbook and Eng Materials Notes. Pass to Feline PhysicsI tutorial solutions.
Thursday: Met little ex-roomie for breakfast at Pallete. loveNTU freshmen blessings in the evening.
Friday: Met Jel in the morning to study. Talked to Shi Hui. Crashed Jel's lectures and laughed alot alot. Thanks to Yeeleng, met him to pass to him kinematics text. Pass to Jel fluids and thermo text. Evening DAY OF HIS POWER. Duty at Cam 1. Saw him again! For the 1st time managed to remove the cam from the stand by myself. Carried it all the way to the backstage and almost died.
Saturday: Postponed tuition to Monday. Went Popular (got 20% storewide!) to get drawing stuff. Watched NDP on TV.
Sunday: Youth svc, running at EXPO aft that.

ok It's just 3 stitches
after taking a really good look at the stitches... I think it's just 3 stitches. not five. I only see 3 knots.
and school is starting sooN!!!! oh no.
Was having so much problem with the printer just now. Now it seems better. Hopefully for good.
and I still have not done what I need to do for tuition. Shucks.
and tomorrow:
11am-2pm Tuition
4pm - 9pm NDP REVIEW! <3
means I can't do anything productive again.
and FIVE STARS for THE DARK KNIGHT. Very nice show.
time to rest! shall wake up early early tomorrow to do tuition stuff.
